Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2015 Review

Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is the junior version of the popular Land Cruiser. However, it is perceived more as a fashion accessory than an off-road tool. It offers a good range of models with a choice of engines and various options.

External Features

There has been a major tweak on the 2015 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado SUV from its predecessor. The previous old version was a rough off-roader. But in this model, the Prado is more of a luxury, mid-range cruiser. The Prado’s front looks soft and friendly, headlamps are chunky, and extend a third of the way along the bonnet. There are some subtle body mouldings around the front and rear wheel arches. From the back, it looks quite plain. However, the option of having chrome trim around things like the spare wheel makes it look more like an expensive piece of jewelry.

Interior Features

After analyzing the internal features, it was noted that nothing major has been modified.  you are still surrounded by the familiar switches that were on most of Toyota’s previous car models. With a simple layout, the fascia in the middle of the dash is quite smart, however. The interior options make all the difference, and in black and grey it feels far better than it does in beige.

Under the hood:

The technology that sits under the bonnet exists to take care of your off-road. The car comes with Vehicle Stability Control and Traction Control. On higher-range models the Prado also comes with a Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System, which in layman’s terms means that the suspension is controlled by hydraulic cylinders to give you a smooth off-road experience.

To determine the value of The 2015 Toyota Prado, you need to chose between either a 2.7 or 4.0 litre power plant, which produces 160bhp and 270bhp respectively. The very basic 2.7 litre model has a value that begins at AED 131,500, with the top of the range model crowning the list at AED 181,500. A third row of seats is available which will increase capacity to seven people, and all the usual tricks and options are on offer, too.
