The 500 million dirham convoy fascinates viewers of Dubai Show Parade

Thousands of car enthusiasts in Dubai enjoyed watching the Dubai Show Parade. The convoy included more than 500 cars from auto high-speed luxury and motorcycles which was worth about 500 million dirham, equivalent to 136 million dollars in the inaugural cycle of Dubai Show Parade which included a huge collection of luxury brands. The show which is considered one of the major events in Dubai Festival for cars attracted owners of the oldest and most luxurious models of luxury cars and high-speed motorcycles including Bugatti Veyron car (the fastest street car in the world), Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Maserati, Shelby, Harley Davidson and Ducati.
The crowds encourage their favorite cars participating in the convoy which included more than 350 brand and model. The convoy length was about one kilometer from its launch at the roundabout in front of Dubai World Trade Center with Formula -1 racing car 2013 Redpoll Infiniti champion at the lead.
Dr. Mohammed bin Sulayem, Chairman of the Emirates Automobile Club and Tourism, Vice President of the “F-CIA” for sport and ambassador of Dubai Show Parade gave the start signal to begin the convoy which included a fleet of Dubai ultra-fast police cars with green and white colors.
On this occasion, Bin Sulayem who was involved with a number of his own cars said: “The best word sums up this display is energy which can feel it everywhere, this fantastic offer is a mechanism linking the community and contribute to building a powerful cars society “, and Bin Sulayem praised the event which brought together an amazing collection of high-speed luxury and ancient cars and motorcycles. Also, the convoy gathers car owners, drivers, the crowd, the police and the organizers of other government agencies which is a wonderful addition to the calendar of Dubai”.
John Campbell, owner of the Mauritius British car, accompanied by his son Michael and daughter Lily in the convoy said: “The car was serving previously at the England Post Office in Yorkshire and it has shipped to the island of Malta in 1974 where one of the ancient cars lover found it and he bought and renovated it, I’ve owned the car just six months ago and the Dubai Show Parade is it’s first appearance in front of the audience. I’m very proud to be part of this”.
The Ferrari was the most of the onlookers talking where participated 76 Ferrari cars in the convoy, Emirati Yasser Qatba said: “This procession is fantastic, I loved it, it is a remarkable event for Dubai and perfect as able to see all my dreams cars in one place and the Bugatti was my favorite car then the Ferrari and there are many of it here, I cannot believe the existence of such an enormous number of them in the same place”.
600 cars were displayed in the last day of the Dubai International Exhibition of cars includes 108 new releases on the regional and global levels, a new record, and includes 15 futuristic cars from the production of the major car manufacturers. The exhibition hosts the demo Nissan 4X4 track, the Hyundai’s World Cup contest that concentrates on the football skills and the faster tires change competition under the auspices of the Pirelli and the Wales Journal. The tickets are sold at the entrance of Dubai World Trade Centre.
