45,000 Units of VW in Recall Due to Fuel Leakage

German car maker Volkswagen began 2015 by issuing a recall of the 2014 and 2015 models of the Jetta, Passat, GTI and the iconic Beetle and Beetle convertible. The company has a heartwarming car history with the likes of the Beetle. If you estimate car value by factoring this in, you may be in for disappointment.

Apparently the fuel rail in these models has a sealing cap that could fail resulting into the fuel leaking into engine thus causing a heavy fire risk. We do not want your precious Beetle erupting into fire as you cruise around the scenic countryside. This would be the right time to the used car market and get it off your hands before it’s a smoldering heap of twisted metal.
