Equipped with a new engine, the third generation Porsche Cayenne is amazingly off-road capable and has excellent driving dynamics for a stable ride on any kind of terrain.

The rear of the vehicle has been reworked with an inspiration taken from the iconic 911 sports car to make the all-new Porsche Cayenne a “sports car for five.” The new generation of this crossover comes with a new generation of engines that are designed to bring seamless power and handling to the driver at all times.

This is a premium crossover that brings plenty of new interior upgrades, including better rear legroom, an updated instrument cluster, new cabin air filters and overall enhanced comfort and luxuries. With a lightweight chassis and better driving dynamics, the 2018 Porsche Cayenne is ready to take the segment by storm in 2018.

Here is a review of the 2018 Porsche Cayenne with a closer look at its new design, updates to the interior, performance, safety features and more.

Design of 2018 Porsche Cayenne

The designers at Porsche have completely redesigned the all-new Cayenne and made it longer and lower to add to the sportiness of the vehicle. The rear of the vehicle received plenty of changes with new design elements added to enhance the look, while the interior has been made more comfortable and spacious, thanks to the absence of the third row.

Exterior

The exterior of the 2018 Porsche Cayenne has been changed extensively, especially from the rear. The grille and the air intakes at front have been enlarged to improve the engine cooling function. The top louver extends along the width of the grille and the air intakes to bring a homogenous look to the front fascia.

The headlights have retained somewhat the same iconic design, however, the LED headlights appear to have a sharper inner corner. The fog lights are also a little wider than before. The hood of the crossover has sharper lines that are now closer to the center of the hood.

The side profile of the 2018 Cayenne looks more dominating than before with the fenders flaring out to look more muscular. The roof of the vehicle is sharply contoured and looks sleek from every angle. The roof that ends in a spoiler adds to the aerodynamics of the vehicle and catches the eye of the onlookers.

To further improve the sporty appeal of the 2018 Porsche Cayenne, the vehicle now has new 21-inch wheels to make the stance wider and more aggressive. The vehicle also appears to be more broad-shouldered, thanks to its more muscular and athletic stance.

The rear of the 2018 Cayenne has been redesigned completely and revitalized to appear more modern. The rear of the vehicle features two sharply designed 3D taillights that are connected with a thin strip of LEDs, which make the muscular rear end of the crossover more captivating.

The taillights are sleeker, thinner and modern looking so that all eyes are drawn towards the 3D Porsche logo. The round exhaust outlets are sitting a little lower and are integrated into the lower rear bumper. The skid plate is not visible anymore and enhances the overall luxurious appearance of the vehicle.
