Overall review of the 2017 BMW 5 series

The mid-size luxury sedan is BMW’s next generation car that will set quite a good competition to the likes of Mercedes-Benz E350, Audi A6 and Cadillac CTS due to its untouchable dynamic excellence in the recent four-car comparison test. This has greatly raised the car rating of the 5-series in terms of performance and high technology. This car feels big and floaty in transitions attributed to the sporty suspension tunes that provide a comfortable ride. The car is anticipated to cut on the weight by expanding on the use of aluminum and composites that are lighter. It will have all new flexible rear-drive platform that will be found underneath everything from the 2-series to the all-new 2016 7-series.

What is new in 2017 BMW 5 series?

The luxury sedan will have BMW’s new modular turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six with the engine displacing 500cc per cylinder for the high speed transmission. This gives the rise of the 4.0-liter V-8 from the 550i model’s twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V-8 engine. The company is set to build a plug-in-hybrid different from its major models meaning it will be part of the 5-series mix. The plug-in-hybrid X5 will include a 240-hp 2.0-liter four cylinder and s 95-hp electric motor teamed with the eight-speed automatic. These features are assessed to identify car value in order to be ranked with other cars.

Car Price of 2017 BMW 5 series in the UAE

The 5-series will probably be officially unveiled in 2016 with a starting car price of AED 190,000 which is attributed to the massive power train of the car and exceptional luxury features.
