Toyota has burst forth with a special edition aimed at car buyers who want classy up-to date high technology cars at a slightly lower car price compared to the luxury cars that emphasize such qualities. Based on the Corolla S Plus, the 2016 Corolla Special Edition shares that car’s 1.8-liter four engine and CVT powertrain that is adequate for its standards. This super-special car comes in three exclusive exterior paints that gives the buyer the option of which color suits his test and preference. There is a choice of Absolutely Red, Black Sand Pearl and Super White. However, the super white isn’t so super and it’s also available on the regular Corolla S Plus.
Exclusive gloss-black 17-inch aluminum wheels sit at all four corners, and a Special Edition badge is applied below the Corolla wordmark on the trunk. The basic black interior gets red stitching on the seats, armrest, steering wheel, and shifter. The dashboard and door trim also get red accents. This is not a unique design however its exceptional application on this car makes it distinctive.
Unique floor mats are ornamented with the Special Edition logo that distinguish it from the regular cars. Finally, as with most of the not-special versions of the Toyota Corolla, the options list includes a high tech audio system with navigation and application functionality as well as a sunroof.
