2014 Nissan Patrol – Debuting in Dubai Motor Show

Motor Show organized at United Arab Emirates is the best show in which most of the Dubai cars are made public so that the buyers and critics can have closer look at the look and the feel of the cars that are yet to be launched in the market, the ones that are already the bestsellers in the market and the ones that are the classic evergreen beauties. Cars of different brands are shown in this event. The most recent Motor Show of Dubai was organized in the first week of November. In the show, different car manufacturing brands showcased their car models in-front of the Arabians. Several concept cars and the classic cars were unveiled in the show. People had a closer look at the stunning cars and asked the questions of their interest to the car brand representatives.

Here, in the right hand side, the image that you are seeing is the 2014 Nissan Patrol. It is one of the cars that were debuted in the Dubai Motor Show. Well, it made its first appearance in the show, but the speculations are that the SUV won’t be available in Dubai stores for some more time. The witnessed of the show have said that this particular facelift refreshes the sixth-generation Y62 Nissan Patrol that was first launched in 2010 at the global level. That car, then reached the UAE market in February, 2013. Speaking of the Nissan Australia, it is being said that the Australian Nissan has no plans to bring the face-lifted Patrol to their local showrooms. But, they will be selling the car which is Y62 petrol model at a whooping amount of $82,690. The diesel model of the same, i.e. 118kW/380Nm Y61 diesel is being sold at $53,890 in the Australian market.

Going viral around the globe, there are some visual tweaks that are being seen by most of the customers eagerly waiting for this new launch. Out of all the specifications that are being expected from the upcoming model, the C-shaped LED daytime running lights are the ones that are gaining more attention from the viewers worldwide. Apart from that, the features are also enhanced. It has been made more squared-off along with the new lower central air intake and new fog lights that house front radar technology. The rear has not been changed much. The alterations are just restricted to reshaping bumper and latest red-accented tail-lights. Furthermore, chrome mirror caps and advanced alloy wheels complete the exterior look. Inside the car, the layout has been kept the same, but finishing has been done with a combination of woodgrain trim and tan leather upholstery.

Globally, three transmissions of the car will be available. Talking specifically about the Middle East market, it has been speculated that the brand will be offering seven-speed automatic plus manual mode along with a six-speed manual and five-speed automatic cum manual mode.
