Dubai police devised a white points system which was launched three years ago that is aimed at encouraging Dubai cars drivers who abide by the traffic laws. This year the Dubai Police increased the number of drivers that receive white points. An Increment of 500 hundred drivers were awarded compared to last year. A driver who doesn’t commit any traffic violation in any emirate will be qualified to win a brand new car from Dubai Car Market courtesy of the police.
Out of 1800 ideal drivers 1500 were awarded, the system will be gathered once the traffic system gets unified. as it collects data from drivers then winners are sent an SMS to confirm their victory.
The scheme presents well-behaved motorists and drivers with gift vouchers, opportunity to cancel their black points and other addition prizes among others. Drivers who have accumulated over 24 black points in traffic violation that may include reckless driving, over speeding and knocking pedestrians among others will not be listed to acquire white points this year.
The eligible candidates are those who have valid driving licenses issued from Dubai and those with more than one Dubai-registered vehicles with car information indicating their names in addition to driving themselves. The driver should not have any violation registered in his names, any Salik fines, parking fines nor any traffic fines in any emirate.
