This initiative has been taken in collaboration with Emirates Auction to fulfill the ever-growing demand for special number plates in Sharjah. Details of the Number Plates Available for Direct Purchase
The direct sale of 100 special number plates will include a wide variety of distinguished number plates bearing various codes. As there is no bidding process and customers can directly purchase their favorite number plate, these number plates will be sold to customers on first-come-first-served basis.
According to the announcement of Sharjah Police, the new batch of distinguished number plates from Category 3 includes 58 four-digit number plates and 42 five-digit number plates. The authorities have also released the details of the most distinguished number plates available for direct sale.
The most distinguished four-digit number plates available for direct sale are:
- 1550
- 1288
- 1170
- 1019
The most distinguished five-digit number plates are:
- 99903
- 12112
- 10444
- 73334
The price range for special number plates has been increased from the previous direct sale that took place in September 2018. The price range for special number plates was set between AED 2,000 – AED 8,500 in the previous direct sale, which has now been increased to AED 3,000 – AED 12,000.

Procedure for Purchasing Distinguished Number Plates
