<\/p>\nThe Dubai International Motor Show was on this month and truly left a mark. There are numerous cars on display but what you should be really interested in are the inventions on the top end of the car spectrum. Some designs are so rad that they barely fit into the category of car; a hair\u2019s breadth away from UFO.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s James Bond\u2019s new wheels in SPECTRE and if you think you can have one too, you can as well keep thinking. This piece of automotive art was only built for James Bond. The only way you will own it is on your DVD.<\/p>\n

Originally, this luxury saloon was built between 1974 and 1990 and only 650 were made. This new generation, however, is only for the Middle East, so technically you could own one if your pockets are that deep. Bentley have made what they believe will be the world\u2019s fastest SUV. With a 6 litre twin-charged W12 engine, they may be right. And it is a beaut to look at as well. The new 488 Spider is the convertible version of the 488, and it looks sensational. With an all-aluminium space frame holding a tuned Ferrari V8 in the back, this thing will go like stink. Few cars are as iconic as the icon that is the iconic Ford GT40. The car was reinvented for the modern age a decade ago, and now it\u2019s back once more. Hopefully this one will capture the imaginations of day dreamers like the last one. Well worth seeing. Concept cars rarely go into production, so don\u2019t expect to see the Q80 parked waiting at the lights next to you anytime soon. Going to see this car, though, is worthwhile. It may offer a glimpse of the future.<\/p>\n The Jaguar C-X75 also featured in SPECTRE and, boy, what a car it is. Again, like the DB10, this is a one-off, despite its appearance remaining faithful the original C-X75. It\u2019s the villain\u2019s car, so it\u2019s delightfully naughty.<\/p>\n It was no surprise that Lamborghini would take the veil off the Huracan, and now we can see what it looks like without a head. Delightful, we think. It looks good and does not cost as much, well on these levels it doesn\u2019t. The McLaren P1 has been with us for a couple of years now, but that doesn\u2019t stop it still being one of the sexiest cars ever to grace asphalt. This hybrid hyper-car is superb to look at, but you won\u2019t be able to touch it. The McLaren team has it off-limits.<\/p>\n The Mercedes G500 4×4 squared is the most expensive SUV on display at the Dubai International Motor Show \u2013 well, of the ones that published their prices anyway. The ease with which it roughs up sand dunes is akin to a hot knife going through butter; that easy. And the price smiles at those in the top tax bracket. There is no price for this stretched limo as they are made to order. There is nothing that is quite as luxurious as this stretch of Mercedes artistry. It is comfort and luxury personified. The price, when released, will probably have a family of zeros attached to it.<\/p>\n With an extended wheelbase and several miles of legroom, this British made icon is a truly a sight to behold. The sight of the SUV is yet to be dropped but it is sure to leave many wallets and accounts yawning.<\/p>\n Regardless of if you have a Phantom, Ghost, or Wraith, the Rolls Royce owner\u2019s club is the most exclusive of them all. The engine is a direct-injection twin-turbo 6.6 litre V12 which churns out 563 horsepower. It doesn\u2019t matter though, because it\u2019s a Rolls Royce, and the power is aimed at keeping things peaceful. Unlike a lot of the cars on this list, at least you can buy one. It may seem odd that amongst all the flashy sports cars, luxurious stately saloons, and turbocharged SUVs, that we\u2019d include a staid Japanese saloon. It does, however, deserve to be given a mention. The Mirai is powered by hydrogen and the only emission that spouts from its tailpipe is pure water. The hydrogen fuel-cell is the future. Do not reach for your wallet just as yet. Not until the UAE installs hydrogen pumps.<\/p>\n W Motors is an Arabian brand, and nothing will up the stakes of the MENA region quite like this jaw-dropping, and simply staggering, Fenyr.
